The Styleside Bed: 1957 marked the first time Ford offered the flush-fender "Styleside" bed as a standard option, completely changing the look of pickup trucks forever (prior to this, step-side/Flareside beds were the norm).
Modern Cab Design: Ford integrated the cab and the front fenders together seamlessly for the first time, removing the running boards and creating a much wider, more modern interior.
