Description

This is an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) Driver’s Side Door Shell for the 1978-1981 Subaru Brat. This “Gen 1” door is a critical replacement part for enthusiasts restoring early Brats or Leone-style coupes.

Features & Condition:

  • Exterior: Original factory white paint. Includes the period-correct dual black/chrome side molding strips and the cutout for the exterior door handle.

  • Fitment: Direct fit for 1978, 1979, 1980, and 1981 Subaru Brat. Also fits Subaru Leone/GL Coupes from the same era.

  • Internal Structure: This is a stripped shell, providing full access to the internal bracing for inspection. Mounting points for the window regulator and latch assembly are present.

  • Condition Notes: This is a vintage part in “survivor” condition. It shows typical surface scuffs and minor oxidation along the lower hem/edge. The metal is straight, making it a solid foundation for bodywork and a fresh coat of paint.

Note: Auction is for the metal door shell only. Glass, handles, mirrors, and interior trim are not included.
